Selected in the GIMED Program for Green Entrepreneurs In 2022, GRADE A PLUS was selected among only four startups in Lebanon to join the GIMED Program, led by Berytech and funded by the European Union under the ENI-CBC Med Program.
Through this program, our founder Jocelyne Saade and the team received intensive training, one-on-one coaching, and capacity-building workshops focused on scaling green innovations. GRADE A PLUS was recognized for its mission to upcycle sheep wool into sustainable products—from washable, hypoallergenic blankets to thermal insulation rolls and eco-friendly pellet fertilizers.
Participation in the GIMED program enabled us to validate our solutions, improve our eco-design, and reach key milestones like identifying our breakeven point and expanding our product line. The program also helped us strengthen our business model and connect with regional stakeholders committed to the circular economy.
We’re proud to have been featured by Berytech as a standout Lebanese startup working at the intersection of environmental impact and green business.
